  • Batman Begins really does rock. ya'll haven't been lying to me (this time). yay! Christian Bale is as good as advertised, Michael Caine his usual wonderful self, and the writing/direction is top-notch. my unexpected reaction to it? i completely fell for Jim Gordon. because, really, i need a new imaginary boyfriend. :)

  • 17-1? man, i cackled when i came out of the theater and heard that on the radio. besides Ortiz' & Trot's heroics, it looks like Millar may be pulling out of his slump, and hey, Bellhorn upped his OBP. my only low-level gripe -- why can't we spread out some of our hits? you know, save 'em for other games? (whaddaya mean it doesn't work that way?)

  • i was going to be peeved that i woke up at 5:30am this morning for no good reason. but then that meant i was wide awake when the fire alarm (false alarm as usual) went off at 8:30am. silver lining, and all that.

  • now i will try to fix my connectivity issues so that i can have the option of working from home. Comcast, i will defeat thee yet!

Ugh are you really working from home on a Saturday? Or just trying to fix connectivity for weekday working from home? If it's the former, feel free to call or email if you need a break and want company for a meal, a Firefly viewing (I still have Derek's DVDs), or whatever.

it was really the latter, tho strong arguments could be made that i really have waaaaay too much work on my plate and that i should have tried to get some of it done this weekend.

thanks for the offer of relief, even tho i didn't see this til much too late. :)
